Talkin’ World War III Blues

[00:00:00] Talkin' World War III Blues (谈论第三次世界大战布鲁斯) - Bob Dylan (鲍勃·迪伦)

[00:00:20] Some time ago a crazy dream came to me

[00:00:22] I dreamt I was walkin'

[00:00:24] Into World War Three

[00:00:26] I went to the doctor the very next day

[00:00:28] To see what kinda words he could say

[00:00:30] He said it was a bad dream

[00:00:34] I wouldn't worry 'bout it none

[00:00:36] Though

[00:00:37] They were my own dreams

[00:00:38] And they're only in my head

[00:00:49] I said “Hold it Doc

[00:00:50] A World War passed through my brain”

[00:00:51] He said “Nurse get your pad

[00:00:53] This boy's insane”

[00:00:57] He grabbed my arm I said “Ouch ”

[00:00:59] As I landed on the psychiatric couch

[00:01:01] He said “Tell me about it”

[00:01:12] Well the whole thing started

[00:01:13] At 3 o'clock fast

[00:01:14] It was all over by quarter past

[00:01:18] I was down in the sewer

[00:01:19] With some little lover

[00:01:20] When I peeked out from a manhole cover

[00:01:24] Wondering who turned the lights on

[00:01:35] Well I got up

[00:01:36] And walked around

[00:01:37] And up and down the lonesome town

[00:01:43] I stood a-wondering

[00:01:43] Which way to go

[00:01:45] I lit a cigarette

[00:01:46] On a parking meter

[00:01:46] And walked on down the road

[00:01:50] It was a normal day

[00:02:02] Well I rung the fallout shelter bell

[00:02:04] And I leaned my head

[00:02:05] And I gave a yell

[00:02:08] “Give me a string bean

[00:02:09] I'm a hungry man”

[00:02:10] A shotgun fired and away I ran

[00:02:14] I don't blame them too much though

[00:02:15] I know I look funny

[00:02:27] Down at the corner by a hot-dog stand

[00:02:28] I seen a man

[00:02:32] I said “Howdy friend

[00:02:33] I guess there's just us two”

[00:02:35] He screamed a bit and away he flew

[00:02:38] Thought I was a Communist

[00:03:00] Well I spied a girl

[00:03:01] And before she could leave

[00:03:02] “Let's go and play Adam and Eve”

[00:03:06] I took her by the hand

[00:03:07] And my heart it was thumpin'

[00:03:08] When she said “Hey man you crazy or sumpin'

[00:03:13] You see what happened last time they started”

[00:03:33] Well I seen a Cadillac window uptown

[00:03:35] And there was nobody aroun'

[00:03:38] I got into the driver's seat

[00:03:40] And I drove down 42nd Street

[00:03:43] In my Cadillac

[00:03:46] Good car to drive after a war

[00:04:03] Well I remember seein' some ad

[00:04:05] So I turned on my Conelrad

[00:04:07] But I didn't pay my Con Ed bill

[00:04:09] So the radio didn't work so well

[00:04:13] Turned on my record player—

[00:04:16] It was Rock-a-day Johnny singin'

[00:04:19] “Tell Your Ma Tell Your Pa

[00:04:21] Our Love's A-gonna Grow Ooh-wah Ooh-wah”

[00:04:38] I was feelin' kinda lonesome and blue

[00:04:40] I needed somebody to talk to

[00:04:43] So I called up the operator of time

[00:04:45] Just to hear a voice of some kind

[00:04:51] “When you hear the beep

[00:04:52] It will be three o'clock”

[00:04:54] She said that for over an hour

[00:04:56] And I hung up

[00:05:10] Well the doctor interrupted me just about then

[00:05:12] Sayin' “Hey I've been havin'

[00:05:14] The same old dreams

[00:05:16] But mine was a little different you see

[00:05:19] I dreamt that the only person left

[00:05:21] After the war was me

[00:05:23] I didn't see you around”

[00:05:33] Well now time passed and now it seems

[00:05:36] Everybody's having them dreams

[00:05:40] Everybody sees themselves

[00:05:42] Walkin' around with no one else

[00:05:47] Half of the people can be

[00:05:49] Part right all of the time

[00:05:52] Some of the people can be

[00:05:54] All right part of the time

[00:05:56] But all of the people can't be

[00:05:58] All right all of the time

[00:06:00] I think Abraham Lincoln said that

[00:06:05] “I'll let you be in my dreams

[00:06:06] If I can be in yours”

[00:06:08] I said that
