[00:00:11] Was a meddlesome monkey named Jo Jo Gunne

[00:00:17] Old Leo the lion came down from the mountain

[00:00:20] To get a drink of water from the jungle fountain

[00:00:23] Jo Jo the monkey started tellin' him jive

[00:00:25] About the elephant who was gonna skin him alive

[00:00:34] Leo tried to reach and grab Jo Jo's tail

[00:00:36] Got mad and went roarin' through the jungle trail

[00:00:40] He ran upon an elephant beneath a tree

[00:00:42] And said "Put up your dukes

[00:00:43] You gotta tussle with me"

[00:00:48] An ol' eagle from Asia made a non stop flight

[00:00:50] Tryin' to make it in time just to see them fight

[00:00:53] A crocodile phoned and reversed the charge

[00:00:56] Comin' all the way from India on a local barge

[00:01:04] Ol' gorilla heard 'em talking in the lion's den

[00:01:07] But Jo Jo bet him three bucks the elephant wins

[00:01:10] Jo Jo yelled at Leo "Go on knock him down

[00:01:13] He don't outweigh you but a thousand pounds"

[00:01:18] Leo left wailin' with a left upper cut

[00:01:21] The elephant took his snoot

[00:01:22] And grabbed a coconut

[00:01:24] Leo fired a beautiful short back cross

[00:01:26] That's when the coconut landed up against his jaw

[00:01:35] Leo grew tired but he wouldn't give in

[00:01:37] The elephant all loose beat his jawbone in

[00:01:40] The buzzard said they fought furious all day

[00:01:43] He couldn't understand how Leo got away

[00:01:48] Jo Jo runnin' everywhere spreadin' the news

[00:01:51] To the zebras and the leopards and the kangaroos

[00:01:54] A hoot owl reported everything he saw

[00:01:56] Had his eyes wide open they called it a draw

[00:02:05] Leo limpin' back with his jawbone bruised

[00:02:08] Jo Jo in the trees started singin' the blues

[00:02:11] Laughin' meddlin' jumpin' up and down

[00:02:13] 'Til his foot missed a limb

[00:02:15] And he fell to the ground

[00:02:19] Just like a bolt of thunder and a streak of heat

[00:02:22] Leo covered Jo Jo with all four feet

[00:02:25] Jo Jo was screamin' with tears in his eyes

[00:02:27] Said " Please Mr Leo I apologize"

[00:02:36] Said "If you let my feet upon solid ground

[00:02:39] I'll fight you close range fifteen rounds"

[00:02:42] Leo got back to the square of the fight

[00:02:44] Jo Jo took a leap and jumped out of sight
