[00:01:11] But Homo sapiens have not yet failed

[00:01:23] But there is still time to turn everything around

[00:01:27] We can still fix this

[00:01:30] We still have everything in our own hands

[00:01:34] But unless we recognise the overall failures

[00:01:37] Of our current systems

[00:01:39] We most probably don't stand a chance

[00:01:48] We are facing a disaster of unspoken sufferings

[00:01:52] For enormous amounts of people

[00:01:55] And now is not the time for speaking politely

[00:01:59] Or focusing on what we can or cannot say

[00:02:03] Now is the time to speak clearly

[00:02:08] Solving the climate crisis is the greatest

[00:02:11] And most complex challenge

[00:02:14] That Homo sapiens have ever faced

[00:02:18] The main solution however

[00:02:20] Is so simple that even a small child can understand it

[00:02:26] We have to stop our emissions of greenhouse gases

[00:02:30] And either we do that or we don't

[00:02:36] You say that nothing in life is black or white

[00:02:39] But that is a lie a very dangerous lie

[00:02:44] Either we prevent a 1 5 degree of warming

[00:02:48] Or we don't either we avoid setting off

[00:02:52] That irreversible chain reaction beyond human control

[00:02:56] Or we don't either we choose to go on as a civilisation

[00:03:02] Or we don't that is as black or white as it gets

[00:03:09] Because there are no grey areas when it comes to survival

[00:03:19] Now we all have a choice

[00:03:22] We can create transformational action

[00:03:24] That will safeguard the living conditions

[00:03:27] For future generations

[00:03:29] Or we can continue with our business as usual and fail

[00:03:35] That is up to you and me

[00:03:38] And yes we need a system change rather than individual change

[00:03:44] But you cannot have one without the other

[00:03:48] If you look through history

[00:03:49] All the big changes in society have been started

[00:03:53] By people at the grassroots level people like you and me

[00:04:00] So I ask you to please wake up

[00:04:02] And make the changes required possible

[00:04:08] To do your best is no longer good enough

[00:04:12] We must all do the seemingly impossible

[00:04:17] Today we use about

[00:04:19] 100 million barrels of oil every single day

[00:04:25] There are no politics to change that

[00:04:29] There are no rules to keep that oil in the ground

[00:04:33] So we can no longer save the world by playing by the rules

[00:04:38] Because the rules have to be changed

[00:04:41] Everything needs to change and it has to start today

[00:04:47] So everyone out there

[00:04:49] It is now time for civil disobedience

[00:04:53] It is time to rebel
