1913 Massacre(Live)(Live)

[00:00:00] 1913 Massacre(Live) (Live) - Bob Dylan (鲍勃·迪伦)

[00:00:34] Take a trip with me in 1913

[00:00:40] To Calumet Michigan in the copper country

[00:00:47] I'll take you to a place called Italian Hall

[00:00:54] And the miners are having their big Christmas Ball

[00:01:04] I'll take you in a door and up a high stairs

[00:01:11] Their singing and dancing is heard everywhere

[00:01:18] I'll let you shake hands with the people you see

[00:01:25] And watch the kids dance round that big Christmas tree

[00:01:35] There's singing and dancing and songs in the air

[00:01:42] And the spirit of Christmas is there everywhere

[00:01:49] Before you know it you're friends with us all

[00:01:56] And you're dancing around and around in the hall

[00:02:06] You ask about work and you ask about pay

[00:02:13] They'll tell you that they make less than a dollar a day

[00:02:20] Theirs working the copper claims risking their lives

[00:02:27] So it's fun to spend Christmas with children and wives

[00:02:38] Hey little girl sits down by the Christmas tree lights

[00:02:45] To play the piano so you gotta keep quiet

[00:02:52] To hear all this fun you would not realize

[00:02:59] That the copper boss thug men are milling outside

[00:03:09] The copper boss thugs stuck their heads in the door

[00:03:16] One of them yelled and he screamed There's a fire

[00:03:23] A lady she hollered There's no such a thing

[00:03:30] Keep on with your party there's no such a thing

[00:03:40] A few people rushed and it's only a few

[00:03:47] It's just the thugs and the scabs fooling you

[00:03:54] A man grabbed his daughter and he carried her down

[00:04:01] But the thugs held the door and he could not get out

[00:04:11] And then others followed a hundred or more

[00:04:18] But most everybody remained on the floor

[00:04:25] The gun thugs they still laughed at their murderous joke

[00:04:32] And the children were smothered on the stairs by the door

[00:04:42] Such a terrible sight I never did see

[00:04:49] We carried our children back up to their tree

[00:04:56] The scabs outside still laughed at their spree

[00:05:03] And the children that died there were seventy three

[00:05:13] The piano played a slow funeral tune

[00:05:20] And the town was lit up by a cold Christmas moon

[00:05:27] The parents they cried and the miners they moaned

[00:05:34] See what your greed for money has done
