[00:01:40] And the bush hath friends to meet him

[00:01:43] And their kindly voices greet him

[00:01:46] In the murmur of the breezes

[00:01:49] And the river on it's bars

[00:01:53] And he sees the vision splendid

[00:01:56] Of the sunlit plains extended

[00:01:59] And at night the wondrous glory

[00:02:02] Of the everlasting stars

[00:02:24] I am sitting in my dingy little office where a stingy

[00:02:29] Ray of sunlight struggles feebly down

[00:02:33] Between the houses tall

[00:02:37] And the foetid air and gritty of the dusty dirty city

[00:02:43] Through the open window floating

[00:02:46] Spreads it's foulness over all

[00:02:50] And in place of lowing cattle

[00:02:53] I can hear the fiendish rattle

[00:02:56] Of the tramways and the buses

[00:02:59] Making hurry down the street

[00:03:04] And the language uninviting

[00:03:07] Of the gutter children fighting

[00:03:10] Comes fitfully and faintly

[00:03:13] Through the ceaseless tramp of feet

[00:03:20] And the hurrying people daunt me

[00:03:23] Their pallid faces haunt me
