[00:01:25] I picked up my gun

[00:01:28] I aimed it at Shep's faithful head

[00:01:35] I just couldn't do it

[00:01:38] I wanted to run

[00:01:41] And I wished that they'd shoot me instead

[00:01:47] I went to his side and I sat on the ground

[00:01:54] He laid his head on my knee

[00:02:00] I stroked the best pal that a man ever found

[00:02:06] I cried so I scarcely could see

[00:02:12] Old Sheppie he knew he was going to go

[00:02:19] For he reached out and licked at my hand

[00:02:25] He looked up at me

[00:02:28] Just as much as to say

[00:02:31] We're parting but you understand

[00:02:38] Now old Shep is gone where the good doggies go

[00:02:44] And no more with old Shep will I roam
