[00:02:52] His restless eyes leap and scratch

[00:02:54] At all that they can touch or catch

[00:02:57] Hidden deep within his pocket

[00:02:59] Safe within its silent socket

[00:03:01] He holds a colored crayon

[00:03:07] Now from the tunnel's stony womb

[00:03:10] The carriage rides to meet the groom

[00:03:12] And opens wide and welcome doors

[00:03:14] But he hesitates then withdraws

[00:03:16] Deeper in the shadows

[00:03:23] And the train is gone suddenly

[00:03:27] On wheels clicking silently

[00:03:31] Like a gently tapping litany

[00:03:35] And he holds his crayon rosary

[00:03:38] Tighter in his hand

[00:03:43] Now from his pocket quick he flashes

[00:03:45] The crayon on the wall he slashes

[00:03:48] Deep upon the advertising

[00:03:49] A single worded poem comprised

[00:03:52] Of four letters

[00:03:55] And his heart is laughing screaming pounding

[00:03:58] The poem across the tracks rebounding

[00:04:00] Shadowed by the exit light

[00:04:02] His legs take their ascending flight

[00:04:04] To seek the breast of darkness and be suckled by the night
