[00:00:41] And I declared morality an offshoot of aesthetics

[00:00:46] And got a failing c for my defiance

[00:00:56] So next semester I back to divinity school trotted

[00:01:01] Proverbial tail not between my legs

[00:01:06] And spent the whole course positing my own ethical system

[00:01:11] While other college students emptied kegs

[00:01:22] Information ethics cyberethics both since taken

[00:01:26] Said maximize the information flow

[00:01:31] Toward a hypothetical end state in which the cosmos

[00:01:36] Consists entirely of our info

[00:01:41] And at the highest level possible not only data

[00:01:46] But data about data dot dot dot

[00:01:51] Or life on top of life on top of life et cetera

[00:01:56] Profundity my mother'd say I'd not

[00:02:31] My Mennonite professor did concede I'd done the coursework

[00:02:36] Although my system left him quite dismayed

[00:02:41] Depending as it did on neither history nor Jahweh

[00:02:46] And gave me finally a passing grade
