[00:01:25] Now the action sure got fast that second half

[00:01:30] With mabel out edna came on strong to bring the hometeam back

[00:01:36] There was no way that ball could miss when edna raised her feet

[00:01:42] And when a mighty throw put it through the hook

[00:01:46] The crowd came screaming off their seats

[00:01:50] Our strappy little guard was emma jean

[00:01:55] No sooner the ball would miss the hook then she'd steal it for our team

[00:02:01] Edna threw the goal so fast the lights couldn't keep up with the score

[00:02:07] And a halftime 80 17 climbed all the way to read 90 84

[00:02:15] Two minutes left showed on the scoreboard clock

[00:02:19] Edna and emma jean were sweatin' like cotton hands on the dock

[00:02:26] With seconds left a faster playin' just about splattered our minds

[00:02:32] For edna had two free shots coming and the score was 90 89

[00:02:42] When edna burgoo put her tootsies on the mark

[00:02:47] Everybody in that place got so quiet it hurt my heart

[00:02:53] She bounced the ball on her fingertips and then she hit the spot

[00:02:59] It was 90 90 but nobody moved and

[00:03:02] She steadied her knees for that second shot

[00:03:06] Made no difference if her shoe was number 10

[00:03:11] We were pullin' for her to make the mark and let our hometeam win

[00:03:18] Then the hats flew high and the crowd went wild when edna's shot was done

[00:03:24] For she made champions of us all with the score of 90 91
