[00:00:44] Now suppose you make believe this is many many years ago

[00:00:46] A long time before you were born

[00:00:49] You're standing on a hillside near a little town in Palestine

[00:00:54] Do you see the man in the distance walking slowly leading a donkey

[00:00:59] His name is Joseph

[00:01:02] Someone is sitting on the back of the donkey

[00:01:05] And her name is Mary

[00:01:08] They've come a long long way

[00:01:10] And they're heading for a little town near the hillside

[00:01:13] On which we're standing

[00:01:16] Something very special will happen in this little town tonight

[00:01:20] For this is the little town of Bethlehem

[00:01:32] Oh little town of Bethlehem

[00:01:38] How still we see thee lie

[00:01:44] Above thy deep and dreamless sleep

[00:01:50] The silent stars go by

[00:01:58] Yet in thy dark streets shineth

[00:02:31] Let's follow Joseph and Mary into the town of Bethlehem

[00:02:36] It's getting dark and all of the rooms at the inn are taken

[00:02:39] But the kindly innkeeper tells them

[00:02:41] They could spend the night at a stable nearby

[00:02:45] Now I told you something was gonna happen

[00:02:48] And it did

[00:02:49] A baby boy is born to Mary and Joseph

[00:02:52] Whom they call Jesus

[00:02:55] They have no baby's crib so Mary puts little Jesus to sleep

[00:02:59] In the soft sweet hay of a manger

[00:03:03] Come come come to the manger

[00:03:07] Children sing and asleep on the hay

[00:03:12] Sing sing chorus of Angels

[00:03:18] Little Lord Jesus is born on this day

[00:03:29] Jesus is asleep in the manger

[00:03:31] So let's tiptoe out to the hillside near Bethlehem

[00:03:38] All at once the Shepherds are frightened

[00:03:40] You'd be frightened too

[00:03:41] Because a great light suddenly shines in the sky

[00:03:49] Even the animals are hushed and still

[00:03:52] But then you hear the voice of an Angel of the Lord

[00:04:01] And you're no longer frightened

[00:04:02] For the Angel brings good news

[00:04:05] News of a saviour born this day

[00:04:08] News of Christ the Lord

[00:04:13] The First Noel the Angels did say

[00:04:21] Was to certain poor Shepherds

[00:04:24] In fields as they lay in fields where they

[00:04:32] Lay keeping their sheep

[00:04:36] On a cold winter's night that was so deep

[00:04:52] Born is the King of Israel

[00:05:08] Well we're still with the Shepherds

[00:05:09] On the hillside near Bethlehem

[00:05:12] We hear the Shepherds ask the Angel

[00:05:14] Where to find the Christ child

[00:05:16] And the Angel tells them to go to the manger

[00:05:20] And as they leave the sky is filled with other Angels singing

[00:05:24] Glory to God and on earth peace goodwill to men

[00:05:29] Ah

[00:05:38] The Shepherds hurry to the manger

[00:05:39] Fall on their knees before the baby

[00:05:41] And they worship him

[00:05:44] For he is Christ the Lord

[00:05:49] Oh come all ye faithful

[00:05:56] Joyful and triumphant

[00:07:24] We Three Kings of Orient are

[00:07:28] Bearing gifts we traverse afar

[00:07:32] Field and fountain moor and mountain

[00:07:39] Following yonder star

[00:07:48] Yes the three men on the camels are the three wise men

[00:07:52] The new star guides them straight to Bethlehem

[00:07:55] To a little baby lying in a manger

[00:07:58] There the three wise men present gifts to the Christ child

[00:08:02] The first Christmas gifts ever given to anyone

[00:08:06] A gift of gold

[00:08:09] Of frankincense and of mir

[00:08:14] And they too fall on their knees to worship him

[00:08:17] And now a great peace settles on the night

[00:08:21] For it is the holy night
