[00:01:01] But a miniature sleigh and eight tinny reindeer

[00:01:14] More rapid than eagles his coursers they came

[00:01:54] The prancing and pawing of each little hoof

[00:02:05] And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot

[00:02:21] His eyes how they twinkled his dimples how merry

[00:02:25] His cheeks were like roses his nose like a cherry

[00:02:29] His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow

[00:02:33] And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow

[00:02:38] The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth

[00:02:41] And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath

[00:02:44] He had a broad face and a little round belly

[00:02:47] That shook when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly

[00:02:51] He was chubby and plump a right jolly old elf

[00:02:54] And i laughed when i saw him in spite of myself

[00:02:58] A wink of his eye and a twist of his head

[00:03:01] Soon gave me to know i had nothing to dread

[00:03:06] He spoke not a word but went straight to his work

[00:03:09] And filled all the stockings then turned with a jerk

[00:03:13] And laying his finger aside of his nose

[00:03:18] And giving a nod up the chimney he rose

[00:03:27] He sprang to his sleigh to his team gave a whistle

[00:03:30] And away they all flew like the down of a thistle

[00:03:34] But i heard him exclaim ere he drove out of sight
