[00:01:57] And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack

[00:02:05] His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow

[00:02:13] And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath

[00:02:16] He had a broad face and a little round belly

[00:02:18] That shook when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly

[00:02:22] He was chubby and plump a right jolly old elf

[00:02:24] And I laughed when I saw him in spite of myself

[00:02:32] He spoke not a word but went straight to his work

[00:02:35] And filled all the stockings then turned with a jerk

[00:02:38] And laying his finger aside of his nose

[00:02:40] And giving a nod up the chimney he rose

[00:02:43] He sprang to his sleigh to his team gave a whistle

[00:02:46] And away they all flew like the down of a thistle

[00:02:49] But I heard him exclaim ere he drove out of sight
