[00:00:43] One night we rustled cattle a thousand head or so

[00:00:48] And started them out on the trail that leads to Mexico

[00:00:52] But a norhtern started blowin' and lightnin' flashed about

[00:00:57] I thought someone was calling me I thought I heard a shout

[00:01:03] Then at that moment lightning struck not twenty yards from me

[00:01:08] And left there was a giant cross where once there was a tree

[00:01:13] And this time I knew a heard a voice a voice so sweet and strange

[00:01:18] A voice that came from everywhere a voice that called my name

[00:01:23] So frightened I was thinking of sinful deeds I'd done

[00:01:28] I failed to see a thousand head of cattle start to run

[00:01:33] The cattle they stampeded were running all around

[00:01:38] My pony ran but stumbled and it threw me to the ground

[00:01:42] I felt the end was nearing that death would be the price

[00:01:47] When a mighty bolt of lightning showed the face of Jesus Christ

[00:01:52] And I cried Oh Lord forgive me Don't let it happen now

[00:02:03] My wicked past unfolded I thought of wasted years

[00:02:07] When another bolt of lightning killed a hundred head of steers

[00:02:12] And the others rushed on by me and I was left to live

[00:02:17] The Master had a reason life is His to take and give

[00:02:22] A miracle performed that night I wasn't ment to die

[00:02:27] The dead ones formed a barricade least 6 or 7 high

[00:02:32] Right behind it there was I afraid but safe and sound

[00:02:36] I cried and begged for mercy kneeling there upon the ground

[00:02:41] A pardon I was granted my sinful soul set free

[00:02:46] No more to fear the angry waves upon life's stormy sea

[00:02:50] Forgiven by the love of God a love that will remain

[00:02:55] I gave my life and soul the night the Saviour called my name
