[00:01:43] And waited for t ghost to turn up

[00:01:46] On the first stroke of twelve up jumped Albert

[00:01:50] His mouth full of cold dripping toast

[00:01:53] With his stick with the orses ead andle

[00:01:57] He pointed and said Here's the ghost

[00:02:00] They felt their skins going all goosey

[00:02:04] As Lady Jane's Spectre drew near

[00:02:07] And Albert fair swallered his tonsils

[00:02:11] When the Eadsman an all did appear

[00:02:13] The Eadsman chased Jane round the grass patch

[00:02:17] They saw his axe flash in the moon

[00:02:20] And seeing as poor lass were eadless

[00:02:23] They wondered what what next he would prune

[00:02:27] He suddenly caught sight of Albert

[00:02:30] As midnight was on its last chime

[00:02:34] As he lifted his axe father murmered

[00:02:37] We'll get the insurance this time

[00:02:40] At that Mother rose taking umbridge

[00:02:44] She said Put that cleaver away

[00:02:47] You're not cutting our Albert's ead off

[00:02:50] Yon collar were clean on today

[00:02:53] The brave little lad stood undaunted

[00:02:59] Then taking the toast he were eating

[00:03:15] He disappeared just like that there

[00:03:19] When Pa saw the way as they vanished

[00:03:22] He trembled with fear and looked blue

[00:03:26] Til Ma went and patted his shoulder

[00:03:28] An said Sallright lad we saw it too
