[00:00:16] So here goes it has always seemed to me after all

[00:00:22] Us all a wonderful opportunity each year to reflect

[00:00:25] On what we all most sincerely and deeply believe in

[00:00:28] I refer of course to money

[00:00:31] And yet none of the christmas carols

[00:00:34] That you hear on the radio or in the street

[00:00:36] Even attempt to capture the true spirit of christmas

[00:00:41] As we celebrate it in the Unitstates

[00:00:45] That is to say the commercial spirit

[00:00:48] So I should like to offer the following christmas

[00:00:50] Carol for next year

[00:00:51] As being perhaps a bit more appropriate

[00:00:59] Christmas time is here by golly

[00:01:01] Disapproval would be folly

[00:01:04] Deck the halls with hunks of holly

[00:01:06] Fill the cup and don't say when

[00:01:08] Kill the turkeys ducks and chickens

[00:01:11] Mix the punch drag out the dickens

[00:01:13] Even though the prospect sickens

[00:01:45] Sentiment will not endear it
