[00:01:14] Er was voted among the top ten organs his educational career began interestingly enough in agricultural school where he majored in animal husbandry until they caught him at it one day

[00:01:31] Whereupon he switched to the field of medicine in which field he also won renown as the inventor of gargling which prior to that time had been practiced only furtively by a remote tribe in the

[00:02:11] The land we all dream about sunny mexico of course the last part of which is completely irrelevant as with the whole thing I guess except it's a rather sneaky way of getting into this next

[00:02:24] Of popular song which is one of those things about that magic and romantic land south of the border

[00:02:34] When it's fiesta time in guadalajara

[00:02:36] Then I long to be back once again

[00:02:39] In old mexico

[00:02:43] Where we lived for today

[00:02:46] Never giving a thought to tomara

[00:02:50] To the strumming of guitars

[00:02:51] In a hundred grubby bars

[00:02:54] I would whisper te amo

[00:03:17] The mariachis would serenade

[00:03:20] And they would not shut up till they were paid

[00:03:27] We ate we drank and we were merry

[00:03:33] And we got typhoid and dysentery

[00:03:48] But best of all we went to the plaza de toros

[00:03:53] Now whenever I start feeling morose

[00:03:56] I revive by recalling that scene

[00:04:00] And names like belmonte dominguin and manolete

[00:04:08] If I live to a hundred and eighty

[00:04:11] I shall never forget what they mean

[00:04:14] For there is surely nothing more beautiful in this

[00:04:25] A half a ton of angry pot roast

[00:04:31] Out came the matador

[00:04:36] Who must have been potted or

[00:04:39] Slightly insane but who looked rather bored

[00:04:42] Then the picadors of course

[00:04:45] Each one on his horse

[00:04:51] I shouted ole ev'ry time one was gored

[00:05:00] I cheered at the bandilleros' display

[00:05:01] As they stuck the bull in their own clever way

[00:05:07] For I hadn't had so much fun since the day

[00:05:10] My brother's dog rover

[00:05:11] Got run over

[00:05:12] Rover was killed by a pontiac and it was done with

[00:05:39] Driver both ears and the tail but I digress

[00:05:42] The moment had come

[00:05:44] I swallowed my gum

[00:05:47] We knew there'd be blood on the sand pretty soon

[00:05:50] The crowd held its breath

[00:05:54] Hoping that death

[00:05:55] Would brighten an otherwise dull afternoon

[00:06:00] At last the matador did what we wanted him to

[00:06:09] He raised his sword and his aim was true

[00:06:12] In that moment of truth I suddenly knew

[00:06:18] That someone had stolen my wallet

[00:06:21] Now it's fiesta time in akron ohio

[00:06:23] But it's back to old guadalajara I'm longing to go

[00:06:25] Far away from the strikes of the a f of l and c I o

[00:06:29] How I wish I could get back

[00:06:30] To the land of the wetback

[00:06:31] And forget the alamo

[00:06:32] In old mexico ole
