[00:01:18] Sleepin in their bunks after an after dinner drink

[00:01:21] They didn't think the boat would sink oh no

[00:01:30] Well I know captain buck was a very sad man

[00:01:33] When that old wooden hull went into the sand

[00:01:36] And Miss Ferris was sad for sure

[00:01:39] But immediately her mind went to work oh yeah

[00:01:47] Well she did some politicking that was tricky and hard

[00:01:51] And she got the pilot house for the schoolhouse yard

[00:01:54] And so instead of studying I became a dreamer

[00:01:57] Dreaming 'bout boats and the Mississippi river

[00:02:27] I had to work real hard to get to work done

[00:02:30] 'Cause you could not fool Miis Ferris none

[00:02:34] And if I went to sleep or

[00:02:35] I were not supposed to talk

[00:02:36] Oh she was a dead shot with

[00:02:38] A little piece of chalk uh huh
