[00:01:44] And I wished they'd shoot me instead

[00:01:51] I went to his side and I sat on the ground

[00:01:57] He laid his head on my knee

[00:02:03] I stroked the best pal that a man ever found

[00:02:10] I cried so I scarcely could see

[00:02:16] Old sheppie he knew he was goin' to go

[00:02:23] For he reached out and licked at my hand

[00:02:29] He looked up at me just as much as to say

[00:02:36] We're partin' but you understand

[00:02:42] Now old shep is gone where the good doggies go
