Who Done It?

[00:00:32] It was a rainy night and all the windows were tight

[00:00:36] And there were thirteen people in the house

[00:00:40] The owner and his wife, the butler and his wife

[00:00:43] Cook with her knife, a couple named Smythe.

[00:00:47] The Andersons were there with another strange pair

[00:00:50] And the scary caretaker and me

[00:00:54] The clock struck one, there was the sound of a gun

[00:00:57] And I heard somebody run away.

[00:01:01] And the twelve who were alive had terror in their eyes

[00:01:05] And I overheard the Andersons say ..

[00:01:09] 'Who could have done it ?'

[00:01:10] 'Who could have done it ?'

[00:01:12] And I wonder where's the cook and her knife

[00:01:16] 'Madam' - said Adam with his wife by his side

[00:01:19] 'It was the shot we heard that took her life'.

[00:01:26] The other couple named Sloan and I ran to the phone

[00:01:29] To call the police but just then

[00:01:33] All the power went out and we heard a great shout

[00:01:37] And we knew for someone else it was the end.

[00:01:40] And when the power came on, we were shocked with alarm

[00:01:44] For instead of being twelve, we were ten.

[00:01:48] Who could have done it ?

[00:01:49] Who could have done it ?

[00:01:51] The Andersons were such a nice pair.

[00:01:54] Now the owner and his wife, both afraid for their life

[00:01:58] So they hurried to the door to run away

[00:02:01] But before they got there, there was a whistle through the air

[00:02:05] Then another, then they both had passed away.

[00:02:08] There were seven of us left now, afraid of death now

[00:02:12] But I knew it wasn't me or the Sloans

[00:02:15] 'Cause when the power went out and we heard the others shout

[00:02:18] We were out there in the hallway on the phone.

[00:02:22] That left the butler and his wife and the couple named Smythe

[00:02:26] And the old scary caretaker too

[00:02:29] So the Sloans and I, who were both afraid to die

[00:02:33] Had to think of something quick we could do.

[00:02:36] So we called the Smythes and the butler and his wife

[00:02:40] And we gathered in the drawing room

[00:02:44] But before we could call for the caretaker too

[00:02:48] It was too late for he had met his doom.

[00:02:52] It looked like poison.

[00:02:54] That left five, five, five were still alive

[00:02:58] The Sloans, the Smythes and myself

[00:03:01] Once again the lights went out and I heard a great shout

[00:03:05] From both the Smythes and the Sloans.

[00:03:08] And then the lights came on again and I looked around again

[00:03:12] And everybody was dead and I was alone.

[00:03:22] Well, I must have passed out for the next thing I knew

[00:03:25] I was awakened with my hands in chains

[00:03:30] There was a man with a gun and he said : 'Don't bother, son'

[00:03:33] 'You'll have plenty of time to explain'.

[00:03:36] I was rushed to a car, then taken to a cell

[00:03:39] And a lawyer came in and said his name

[00:03:43] He said : 'I'm sure you told the truth but the truth is, my boy'

[00:03:47] 'To believe in the judge would be insane'.

[00:03:50] 'Now before I pass sentence on you, have you anything to say ?'

[00:03:55] I said : 'Are you kiddin' ?'

[00:03:57] I said : 'This must be a dream' - I said : 'This can't be real'

[00:04:01] 'You don't believe a word that I've said'.

[00:04:04] And then he looked me in the eye and said : 'Have mercy on his soul'

[00:04:07] And I was hanged by the neck until dead, have mercy.

[00:04:25] Hey, wait a minute, hey, stop

[00:04:29] Hey, would you mind rewinding that last sentence ?

[00:04:34] I mean, hanged by the what ?

[00:04:39] Until when ?

[00:04:42] Hey, listen, I think you made a little, I mean I think you made a large mistake here

[00:04:47] First of all, I was in Colorado having breakfast with a nun, OK ?

[00:04:56] What do you mean ? There's nothing to get hung up about

[00:04:58] I mean, you should be in here

[00:05:01] Hey, you ever heard of the word appeal ?

[00:05:05] Well, I'm about to appeal you off that bench in a minute unless you change that decision

[00:05:08] Listen, I got a lot, I mean I had a lot of friends in this town

[00:05:12] Hey, I want to see my congress man.
