[00:01:31] Unearthly tombs

[00:01:43] The victory was ours that day

[00:01:48] I scanned the start terrain

[00:01:53] A flash of color caught my eye across this fruitless plain

[00:02:04] I knelt to find a piece of cloth beneath a fallen gun

[00:02:14] I took it as a souvenir

[00:02:20] As if I'd ever need one

[00:02:25] The allied force prevailed and the war was winding down

[00:02:34] And still I had the souvenir I'd picked up off the ground

[00:02:44] The cloth turned out to be flag

[00:02:55] I took it home to california when my tour was done

[00:03:20] Proof of how I'd served

[00:03:35] But every time I took it out I felt a pang of guilt

[00:03:51] Who'd grown up to be killed

[00:03:57] To wish a strong and young soul well in godforsaken lands
