[00:00:43] But when the monkey tried to speak

[00:00:55] As the elephant split open wide

[00:01:20] A circus full of circus clowns --

[00:01:27] With pie upon their faces

[00:01:30] And with riddles on their lips

[00:01:35] The children all got peanuts

[00:01:39] And the grownups all got checks

[00:01:43] And everyone agreed it

[00:01:46] Was the greatest circus yet

[00:01:51] The tigers cracked their whips

[00:01:54] Until the trainers jumped through hoops

[00:01:59] Then the clowns declared the cage

[00:02:02] Unfair and turned the tigers loose

[00:02:24] One clown juggled fire

[00:02:28] While he swung from the trapeze

[00:02:32] But he smacked and hit the tent post

[00:02:35] With the greatest of dis-ease

[00:02:40] The fire took the tent post

[00:02:44] And the tent came crashing down

[00:02:48] The fire truck came quickly

[00:02:51] But the back was full of clowns

[00:02:56] And they filled the hose

[00:02:58] With righteous prose and gasoline and gall

[00:03:05] “Relax we'll fight the fire back

[00:03:09] With human cannonballs”

[00:03:29] The spectacle was gripping --

[00:03:34] A circus show indeed

[00:03:38] That no one took a notice

[00:03:40] As the clowns took to the streets

[00:03:46] On tricycles with wagons

[00:03:50] And with toilet paper spools

[00:03:54] They tee-peed all the neighbors' homes

[00:03:58] And pissed in all the pools

[00:04:02] “Oh look Oh look it's festive now

[00:04:06] A three ring Marti Gras ”

[00:04:10] Folks looked up to see the fuss

[00:04:14] And watched in shock and awe

[00:04:34] The crowd had gotten weary

[00:04:38] It was time the clowns should leave

[00:04:42] But the clowns all played

[00:04:44] A desperate game of hide without the seek

[00:04:50] But they were easily discovered

[00:04:54] In the shadows where they hid

[00:04:58] Cause every clown was pointing

[00:05:02] Out the clown right next to him

[00:05:07] Let's load em up in circus trucks

[00:05:11] And drive them out of town

[00:05:15] It's not that they are bad per se

[00:05:19] It's just that clowns are clowns
